Brittany Hajec, LPC

Hi, I’m Brittany. I’m a therapist who truly cares about the work and the people I get to support.

My journey into counseling began when I was a teenager, shaped by early experiences that taught me the power of being seen, heard, and understood. Those moments sparked a lifelong passion for creating spaces where others can explore their own stories with honesty, compassion, and curiosity.

Today, I specialize in working with men and women navigating the complexities of low self-esteem, ungroundedness, lack of boundaries, relationship challenges, dissociation, and major life transitions. I draw from a mix of Strengths-Based Therapy, Existential, CBT, EFT, Gottman Method, and Experiential approaches—but more than any technique, I believe that healing happens in connection, when you’re met with empathy and without judgment.

A central part of my work is helping clients reconnect with their core values—the deeper truths that guide how they want to live, love, and make decisions. These values become the foundation of our work together, shaping both goals and direction in a way that feels authentic and grounded. I see therapy as an ethical partnership rooted in respect for your autonomy and lived experience.

I'm also deeply passionate about brain health and the brain’s remarkable ability to change and heal. For those interested, I offer neurofeedback and light therapy options that can support emotional regulation, reduce overwhelm, and restore healthier functioning in the brain and body. These systems can be used either as a standalone service or integrated into our sessions as a grounding tool.

  • The Remote Neurofeedback Unit is a home-based training system that clients can use on their own schedule. Most people run sessions 2–4 times per week for best results. No scheduling, no extra appointments—just seamless brain training from home, with me making personalized adjustments as needed. It is an out-of-pocket investment not covered by insurance. • The Clear Mind Focus Unit is available for in-session use, offering a gentle way to support nervous system regulation and present-moment awareness. More info here.

I encourage all clients to do their own research to determine if these tools are a good fit for their mental health journey, and I’m always happy to answer questions along the way.

If you’re looking for a space where you can show up fully—messy, complicated, and real—I would be honored to walk alongside you. Reach out for a free 15-minute consultation. Let’s see if we’re a good fit.
