Julie Silvestri, MFTC

Hi! I'm Julie, I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. I work to meet you where you are at and take the steps necessary to grow from there. I work with couples, families, LGBTQIA+, young adults, kids, adolescents, and adults dealing with relationship issues, grief, depression, anxiety, queer and gender affirming therapy, and overall support.

I gained training in the Gottman Method which helps in my work with couples by strengthening the understanding of goals and skills for a healthy relationship. I also have a background with BST (Brain Synchronization Therapy)- a form of trauma processing that can assist in many different ways from addressing symptoms of PTSD, to working through symptoms of depression and anxiety. I specialize in Psychodrama, which is a form of Experiential therapy that can assist with grief, relationship issues, identity issues, and negative self- image.

Whatever approach we take, we will take it one step at a time to reach your goals. I became a therapist because I am passionate about helping others overcome their struggles and grow to become their best selves. For fun, you will find me outside in the mountains either longboarding, chasing down my husky, or having a BBQ with my partner and two puppies, Kai and Oliver.
